Rwanda’s national Taekwondo team has committed to giving their best at this year’s world championships taking place in Manchester, UK from May 15-20, sports source told APA in Kigali on Thursday.
According to the captain of the national team, Benoit Kayitare, the game serves as an important test for other future continental and world Taekwondo championships.
All five days will see the best take on each other in on-off matches across seven taekwondo categories.
Then, once the evening sessions begin, each day will have semi-final and final matches in a cauldron-like atmosphere, it said.
The five-day international competition comprises youth, junior and senior in men categories of the competition.
