The majority of incidents occurred at home (11 cases), while nine took place in public spaces, including one in front of a governorate headquarters. Two other cases were reported in workplaces.
Bizerte and Kairouan recorded the highest number of cases with five incidents each, followed by Mahdia and Tataouine with two cases each.
The report underscores the growing concern over suicide rates in Tunisia, often linked to socio-economic difficulties, mental health issues, and social inequalities.
