Prime Minister Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo received, Tuesday in Ouagadougou, Hamoud Abdel Wedoud Kamil, resident representative of the World Bank in Burkina Faso, who praised the impactful results of the projects it has financed.
The World Bank Group referred to ”the remarkable performance” of Burkina, reported the Communications Department of the Prime Minister’s Office.
“In terms of performance, we record an annual disbursement rate of around 30 percent of the total portfolio, estimated at around 3 billion dollars,” declared Hamoud Abdel Wedoud Kamil, at the end of his audience with the head of government.
For him, this “remarkable performance” is the “fruit of the commitment of the authorities and sector managers to ensure that the projects financed are both structuring and impactful for the population”.
