Chad’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, received the Hungarian Special envoy for the Sahel, László Eduard Máthé, on Monday, February 24, 2025, who is on a working visit to N’Djamena.
During their meeting, discussions focused on several issues of common interest with the two parties expressing delight at the quality of cooperative relations between Chad and Hungary.
According to the Chadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties reaffirmed their commitments to strengthen bilateral exchanges with a view to the effective implementation of existing agreements.
The meeting was an opportunity for Mr. László Eduard Máthé to present to the head of Chadian diplomacy several new members of the Hungarian diplomatic office in N’Djamena.
The Special Envoy also presented to the Minister of State the new Chargé d’Affaires and the Defense Attaché, the official publication underlines.
According to Chadian diplomacy, this meeting reflects the common will of the two countries to consolidate their partnership and explore new cooperation opportunities, particularly in the context of regional stability and socio-economic development. It marks an additional step in strengthening diplomatic ties between Chad and Hungary.
