Chad’s newly appointed foreign affairs minister Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, has been holding working sessions with workers of his department in a bid to chad a new diplomatic course for his country.
During a meeting on February 27, Fadoul, who replaced Abderaman Koulamallah,
as head of Chadian diplomacy regards reforms as necessary both at the level of the central administration and external services.
The objective is to modernise and strengthen the effectiveness of Chadian diplomatic
activities through pragmatic initiatives.
The Minister of State particularly insisted on the protection of the Chadian diaspora and the simplification of access to documents and travel documents, in accordance with the general policy of the government recently presented to the National Assembly by Prime Minister Allah-maye Hallina, said the Communication Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This diplomatic overhaul is in line with the vision of President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, promoting proactive and effective diplomacy, centered on Chad’s strategic interests.
