Ethiopia’s President Sahle-Work Zewde on Saturday arrived in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo for a one-day working visit.
The president was in Kenya before proceeding to the DRC, the first visit to that country by a high ranking Ethiopian official in more than thirty years.

Later on Saturday President Sahle -Work Zewde will meet President Felix Tshisekedi and discuss bilateral and regional issues, according to her office.
Ethiopia has strong ties with the DRC where it had sent peacekeepers under the UN in a peecekeeping operation.
