A nun from the community of the daughters of Jesus of Massac was slain in Nola, a town west of the Central African Republic, APA learned on Tuesday from a secure source.
Sister Inès Nieves Sancho, 77, was brutally killed on Monday just behind the house of the community of the daughters of Jesus of Massac, the source said, adding that for the time being there is no further information on this heinous crime.
The MP for Nola I, Jean Marque Djokou deplored the recurrence of murders in his city, pointing out the trafficking in human organs that we see there, as well as ritual crimes.
Consequently, Mr. Djokou asked the government to launch an investigation to ensure that the murder of the nun does not go unpunished.
Sister Inès Nieves Sancho had been residing in Nola since 1996, where she provided care to the population.
