“It’s an important step in the direction of refuting allegations about Sudan’s links to terrorist operations”, Sudanese foreign ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador,Sadig Mohamed Al-ameen, told the state agency on Tuesday.
The country Stressed it would continue its efforts” to remove all the “wrongdoing in the name of Sudan, allegations and false accusation”.
“Sudan Foreign minister, Aldardery Mohamed attended one of the Supreme court hearing on 7th of November to proof that the lawsuit was not delivered accordingly to the international law”. He added .
Sudan is still in the American terror list although US lifted a 20-sanction two years ago.
The 2000 al-Qaeda bombing’s injured took Sudan to courts claiming the country provided support to the group that claimed responsibility of the attack which killed 17 sailors and injured 42 more in Yamen’s Port Aden.
The Tuesday ruling came after the court agreed that the lawsuit had been entitled to Sudan embassy in Washington rather than foreign Minister affair in Sudan ,which violates U.S. Law.
