Member states of the Economic Community of Central African States (CEEAC) are mobilising to strengthen regional integration through a crucial ministerial council meeting in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
On Wednesday, CEEAC opened its Council of Ministers session, paving the way for an extraordinary summit of heads of state scheduled for February 7.

According to a statement from Chad’s diplomatic mission, CEEAC aims to strengthen its role as a driving force in Africa’s integration process.
During the meeting, state representatives will refine development and regional cooperation strategies, ensuring a more cohesive economic and political framework for Central Africa.
The upcoming heads of state summit is expected to ratify key decisions, potentially marking a turning point in the bloc’s regional cooperation efforts.
