The African Press Agency (APAnews) has announced the launch of APA360, its new platform dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of photographic and video content, marking a new step in the diversification of its editorial offerings and its digital transformation.
Designed as a space devoted to visual content, APA360 aims to provide media outlets, institutions, businesses, and communication professionals with a structured collection of photos and videos
covering African and international news.
According to the agency, this initiative aligns with the trend observed among major global news agencies, all of which have platforms specialising in the distribution of images and multimedia content.
The platform, www.apa360.net, brings together content produced over more than 20 years by the agency’s network of correspondents and partners across the continent, covering topics such as politics, economics, diplomacy, culture, sports, the environment, and major international events.
The launch of APA360 comes amid strong growth in demand for high-quality multimedia content, from traditional media outlets, digital platforms, and institutional players alike.
Founded in 2006, APAnews is a pan-African news agency with a presence in several countries across the continent, specialising in producing news about Africa in French, English, Arabic, and Spanish.
