President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday received his counterpart from Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the two leaders professed a commitment to cementing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The two leader were scheduled to hold an official round of talks, after which they will co-chair the second meeting of the Egypt–Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
They also took part in the closing session of the Egyptian-Turkish Business Forum, which was held on Wednesday.
It saw broad participation from the business community and financial and economic institutions in both countries.
