Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye concluded his official visit to Spain with a series of meetings with key economic stakeholders aimed at strengthening strategic partnerships and accelerating the country’s flagship projects.
During his visit, the head of state held talks with executives from Quantum Solutions, Indra, as well as a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce of Fuerteventura, as part of efforts to deepen economic cooperation between Senegal and Spain.
These initiatives are notably aligned with the Alliance Africa Avanza program, which promotes bilateral investment and partnerships.
Talks with Quantum Solutions focused on the reconstruction of the Aristide Le Dantec Hospital, with the aim of equipping Senegal with a modern healthcare facility meeting international standards.
Discussions with Indra centered on high-impact technological projects, including the development of the Hub Connect at Blaise Diagne International Airport, intended to strengthen Senegal’s position as a regional air connectivity hub, as well as innovative solutions in defense and security.
The meeting with the Chamber of Commerce of Fuerteventura explored opportunities for cooperation in tourism, trade, and investment, while highlighting the role of the Senegalese diaspora.
Through these engagements, President Faye reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising leading partners to accelerate the implementation of priority projects and enhance Senegal’s attractiveness in high-potential sectors.
