Morocco has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening South-South cooperation, placing African integration and strategic continental partnerships at the heart of its diplomatic efforts.
Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad on Friday reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships across Africa and developing new joint South-South cooperation initiatives.
The approach is aimed at strengthening ties among African countries through projects and cooperation mechanisms that address the continent’s common priorities. Rabat is therefore focusing on expanding partnerships and establishing initiatives that could contribute to more structured African integration.
The ministry also highlighted the importance it attaches to developing joint initiatives, describing them as a means of consolidating relations among African states.
The approach is based on strengthening strategic partnerships and on South-South cooperation as a framework for joint action.
Morocco’s commitment comes as issues related to African integration and the development of continental partnerships are playing an increasingly prominent role in cooperation policies across the continent.
For Rabat, strengthening these relations is an important pillar of its African cooperation policy.
Morocco’s diplomacy therefore intends to continue its efforts to promote cooperation based on joint initiatives and the pursuit of strategic partnerships. The stated objective is to contribute to a process of African integration built increasingly on cooperation among countries across the continent.
