AIICO Insurance Plc has unveiled its redesigned learning and conference centre at its head office in Lagos, reflecting the company’s commitment to fostering learning, collaboration and professional growth.
The Chief Human Resources Officer at AIICO Insurance, Mr. Oluyemi Obakin, who spoke at the event on Tuesday said: “Learning is most effective when people have the right environment to engage, exchange ideas and apply knowledge.
“The transformation of our learning and conference centre gives our people a purpose-built space that supports training, collaboration and continuous development.”
Obakin said that the facility would also provide more flexibility in delivering the company’s learning and development programmes.
According to him, the centre will encourage employees to interact, exchange ideas and share knowledge in a conducive environment.
Mrs. Bisola Elias, Chief Financial Officer at AIICO Insurance, said that the facility would deliver both operational and strategic value to the organisation.
Elias said the facility would reduce the company’s reliance on external venues for training programmes, strategy sessions, workshops and other corporate engagements.
“Having a facility of this standard within our own premises gives us greater flexibility and allows us to retain more of that value within the organisation,” she said.
She, however, said that the centre would also be available to external users, including organisations, professional bodies, businesses and other groups.
The centre is equipped with multimedia facilities and technology-enabled infrastructure to support learning, collaboration, presentations and hybrid engagements.
