Stakeholders from Guinea’s real estate sector took part in Build Expo 2025 in Abidjan, a major trade fair dedicated to housing and construction.
On the sidelines of the event, Dr. Yamoussa Coulibaly, Vice-President of the National Chamber of Approved Property Developers and Builders of Côte d’Ivoire, met with Mr. Alpha Doumbouya, Commercial and Marketing Director of Guinea’s Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (BSTP).
The meeting, held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, provided an opportunity to strengthen economic ties between their respective institutions, and more broadly, between Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea.
“We had fruitful discussions with Dr. Yamoussa Coulibaly. The meeting allowed us to deepen our dialogue and lay the foundation for a solid partnership,” said Mr. Doumbouya, expressing his enthusiasm after the encounter.
“We will register CHIM-INTER in our database to facilitate its entry into the Guinean market. We also plan to collaborate on organising a similar real estate fair in Guinea,” he added.
Dr. Coulibaly, CEO of Challenge Immobilier International (CHIM INTER), and a strong advocate for African integration and economic development, welcomed the Guinean initiative, emphasising the importance of intra-African cooperation.
“The spirit of South-South collaboration embodied by Mr. Doumbouya through his government-backed structure in Guinea is truly commendable. Prioritizing partnerships between African countries is key to our shared development,” he said.
Dr. Coulibaly also pledged to “establish a lasting and mutually beneficial partnership between Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea.”
This budding collaboration reinforces Coulibaly’s role as a champion of regional economic integration. Step by step, Africa is being built through the synergy of its talents and the strength of its partnerships.
