Mali will host BAMEX 2026, an international exhibition dedicated to defense and security technologies, from November 9 to 13, 2026, at the Bamako Exhibition and Performance Centre (FEBAK).
Organized by the Turkish defense firm The Peak Defense under the joint patronage of the Malian Presidency and the Ministry of Defense, the summit aims to address pressing Sahelian military requirements by connecting international hardware manufacturers directly with defense officials and procurement delegations from across the continent.
Building upon its inaugural 2025 launch, the 2026 edition features expanded participation, attracting major defense contractors from Türkiye, China, Germany, and Sudan, alongside official military leadership from over 40 African nations. More than 20 prominent Turkish defense entities—including Baykar, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, Skydagger, and Prontaron Savunma—will showcase advanced operational hardware alongside delegates from Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense and the Presidency of Defense Industries. The four-day program will include live field demonstrations, tactical showcases, and commercial displays featuring unmanned aerial vehicles, counter-drone systems, armored vehicles, surveillance tech, and secure communications tools tailored for counter-insurgency and border security operations across the Sahel.
