The Kingdom of Morocco continues its support for the Palestinian population through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, which reports to the Al-Quds Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI.
This multifaceted support reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing active and targeted solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency announced on Tuesday the launch of projects with a budget of approximately $2 million, intended for the Palestinian population and underway in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The Agency’s director in charge of management, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, stated in Rabat that the implementation of a series of projects began on Monday to benefit families in several camps in the governorate of the Holy City, including Kalandia, Al-Eizariya, Abu Dis, as well as in towns in the northwest of the governorate.
These initiatives cover various sectors, including sheep and cattle breeding, cheese and dairy production, baking, sewing, embroidery, and beauty, as well as the distribution of equipped multipurpose kiosks.
The Agency’s teams will also distribute olive harvesting equipment to olive growers in Al-Quds as part of the “Aouna” campaign, an initiative aimed at strengthening support for Palestinian farmers as part of the Global “Sumud” projects, implemented by the Agency in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture, the Al-Quds Governorate, and the Land Research Center (LRC).
Despite the challenging circumstances, the Agency continues to support Palestinians and their institutions in Al-Quds, as well as in certain areas of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. As part of its annual plan, the Agency has launched projects totaling $6.5 million between October 7, 2023, and June 30, 2025.
It is also participating in the Kingdom’s efforts to provide relief to the residents of Gaza, initiating actions for 300 children, who lost limbs during the Israeli conflict, as well as 500 orphans who lost both parents, while supporting the education system and mental health.
For his part, the Palestinian Ambassador to Morocco, Jamal Choubaki, praised “the important role of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, under the guidance of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, who continually reaffirms the need to support the resilience of the Maqdessis.”
