The Royal Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR) have announced a series of major air shows and parachute exhibitions on July 30 and 31 to commemorate the 27th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne.
According to a statement released by the General Staff of the FAR, the celebrations will feature performances along Morocco’s northern coastline as well as skydiving demonstrations near the capital.
These festivities form an integral part of Morocco’s national Throne Day celebrations, observed annually on July 30 to mark King Mohammed VI’s reign, which began in 1999. Beyond his royal duties, the monarch also serves as the Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
