President Adama Barrow has announced a state visit to Guinea Bissau as Banjul forge stronger ties with Bissau.
Barrow’s visit to Guinea Bissau from 8th to 9th September 2025 is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, according to a statement from the Gambian presidency on Monday.
During the visit President Barrow will hold talks with his host, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, which will culminate in a bilateral meeting between officials of the two states.
President Barrow will meet members of the sizeable Gambian community in Bissau.
