Algeria has introduced a new secure digital platform aimed at accelerating the regularization of agricultural land across the nation.
This initiative is set to streamline coordination between local authorities and the central administration, marking a significant step in modernizing the country’s land governance.
The newly launched digital service, developed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Fisheries, is designed to expedite the process of agricultural land regularization nationwide. Access to the password-protected application will be exclusively granted to wilaya commissions, operating under the direct supervision of the walis (governors).
The platform’s primary objective is to enhance communication flow and identify and resolve administrative obstacles in real-time. According to a recent assessment conducted by the national commission overseeing land issues, approximately 75 percent of previously identified obstacles can now be resolved swiftly through this new digital system.
