Global commodity trader Mercuria Energy Trading NG and the International Lithium Association (ILiA) have formally joined the lineup for the 11th edition of Nigeria Mining Week, scheduled to run from October 12 to 14 at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
Convening under the theme “Unlocking Investment and Growth through Partnerships,” the annual forum is organized by the Miners Association of Nigeria in partnership with PwC Nigeria and the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI). The summit is projected to draw over 3,080 industry attendees and more than 90 commercial sponsors and exhibitors across seven specialized strategic forums.
The 2026 conference agenda focuses on critical structural issues defining the West African country’s mineral sector, specifically domestic processing mandates, project financing, exploration data, and international market access. Mercuria Energy Trading NG has signed on as a Gold Sponsor to advise on commodity offtake structures and logistics, while the International Lithium Association will participate in the newly introduced Critical Minerals Forum to address export readiness, battery supply chain traceability, and international quality standards. The three-day event will also feature a curated Deal Room designed to facilitate direct match-making between domestic mining projects and global institutional financiers.
