On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, Congo Terminal raised awareness among nearly 900 employees about the 14 golden rules of safety, derived from the AGL Group’s zero-accident plan, to reinforce its commitment to a safe working environment.
From April 29 to 30, 2025, nearly 900 employees were made aware of the 14 golden rules governing health and safety at all Congo Terminal sites.
These rules are taken from the zero-accident plan designed and implemented by the AGL Group’s QHSE department.
Face-to-face awareness sessions were conducted at all sites for the benefit of senior management and all employees. Guy Michel Passi, HSE Manager, and his teams reviewed the fundamentals of the 14 non-negotiable golden rules defined by the company and adapted to its context.
They focus on understanding the hazards and risks specific to each work environment, identifying, reporting, and addressing daily malfunctions, and sharing best practices.
“Many elements enable us to achieve excellent performance, and a healthy and safe work environment is one of the key elements. At Congo Terminal, we make occupational health and safety a daily objective,” Anthony Samzun, General Manager of Congo Terminal explains.
Since the concession began in 2009, Congo Terminal has implemented a bold occupational health and safety policy that fosters employee engagement.
The company organizes toolbox meetings, produces awareness-raising videos with practical cases and creates the conditions for adopting the zero-accident policy.
