The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 33 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa, Tin-Can Island and Lekki Deep Sea Ports in Lagos.
The NPA stated in its “Daily Shipping Position’that the vessels are expected from March 2 to March 8.
According to the document, 16 of the expected ships are laden with containers of different goods and the other 25 ships are laden with bulk urea, crude oil, bulk salt, bulk fertiliser, gypsum, bulk sugar and general cargo.
Meanwhile, the NPA stated that 11 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth with aviation fuel, petrol, diesel, alkaline and containers.
It added that 17 ships are presently discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk urea, truck, bulk gas, and containers of different goods at Tincan, Apapa and Lekki ports.
