The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said that 36 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island port in Lagos.
According to the Daily Shipping Position of the NPA, the vessels are expected from August 10 till August 20.
The NPA stated that 11 of the expected ships contain different goods, while 25 others are carrying bulk urea, petrol, general cargos, bulk pallets, diesel, crude oil, bulk urea, bulk wheat, bulk gas, bulk gypsum and sugar.
It noted that 4 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports waiting to berth with bulk wheat, bulk fertilizer, crude oil and petrol.
The NPA added that 18 ships are presently discharging bulk fertiliser, bulk gypsum, crude soya beans, general cargos, petrol, containers, bulk urea, general cargos and bulk sugar at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa and Tincan Island port.
