According to the spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Defence, the first military exercise, conducted with the Turkish armed forces, involved various types of multi-role combat aircraft in joint air training.
The joint exercise with the Turkish armed forces is taking place over several days at various air bases in Egypt.
The first phase of the exercise included a series of conferences aimed at “harmonising combat concepts” and “exchanging training experiences among the participants.”
According to the Ministry of Defence, the exercise aims to hone the skills of the participating forces to achieve the highest levels of effectiveness and preparedness for conducting joint air missions with a high degree of professionalism under various conditions.
Concurrently, the activities of the joint Egyptian-Omani exercise “Qalaat al-Jabal-2” also commenced with the participation of elements of the Egyptian Paratrooper Forces and the Omani Special Forces.
The first phase of the exercise includes the organization of several conferences on various topics.
The “Qalaat al-Jabal 2” exercise is part of the development of military relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, and supports joint cooperation and coordination
efforts, as well as the exchange of expertise between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries, according to the spokesperson.
