The Anseba Region administration, in partnership with the Research and Documentation Center, recently concluded a 10-day training program on documentation and archives.
The program was attended by 64 employees from various local institutions, including 45 women. The training covered key topics designed to improve how documents are handled and preserved. Participants learned about: Document organization and inspection, preservation and evaluation techniques, and digital document management.
Colonel Kibrom Nirayo, the region’s head of administration and finance, said the training was aimed at ensuring the proper care of documents. He urged all participants to apply their new knowledge in their respective workplaces.
Attendees said the skills they learned would significantly improve their daily work.
In a related effort, Ms. Azieb Tewolde, Director General of the Research and Documentation Center, met with department and branch heads in the region to discuss the importance of proper document and archive management.
