President William Ruto has described France as one of Kenya’s closest allies and values such relations in a new age of multilateralism.
Meeting with French President Emanuel Macron in Seville, Spain on the sidelines of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), Ruto said Kenya is committed to nurturing this relationship to deepen bilateral cooperation and promote even closer collaboration.
”President Emmanuel Macron reaffirmed his support for our partnership at the multilateral level, including advancing reform of the international financial system through initiatives such as the Pact for Prosperity, People, and Planet, which we co-chaired” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Ruto said the momentum to deepen this collaboration with Paris will continue in the lead up to the France-Africa Summit to be held in Nairobi next year.
