The Moroccan Ministry of Energy Transition has issued its first accreditation to an Energy Services Company (ESCO), officially recognizing INEE, a subsidiary of CDG Développement, as a key player in the national energy transition.
This recognition marks a milestone in the emergence of a Moroccan ecosystem dedicated to energy performance.
This accreditation is part of Implementing Decree No. 2-24-153 relating to Law No. 47-09 on energy efficiency.
INEE is now positioning itself as a key player in the deployment of Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs), a model based on measurable contractual commitments regarding energy savings.
The company offers comprehensive support, from initial audits to real-time monitoring, integrating engineering, financing, and change management.
EPCs enable public and private entities to sustainably reduce their energy consumption while contributing to their decarbonisation goals.
This results-oriented model is part of a structuring partnership approach, where payments are determined based on savings achieved.
INEE’s accreditation comes amidst the growing momentum of the kingdom’s policies promoting Moroccan energy sovereignty.
The company intends to operate in various sectors, from industry to logistics, including agriculture, commercial buildings, and smart cities.
