Morocco has strongly condemned Israel’s recent aggression targeting Qatar, calling it a “flagrant violation” of the Gulf state’s sovereignty.
In an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rabat reaffirmed its full solidarity with Doha.
The condemnation follows an Israeli air raid on Tuesday, September 9, that targeted senior Palestinian officials, including Hamas’s chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya, on Qatari soil.
Moroccan diplomacy stated that respecting national sovereignty and territorial integrity is a fundamental principle of international law. The country has called for restraint and an immediate end to the “unacceptable” actions, which it says are a threat to regional stability. This position aligns with Morocco’s commitment to international law and its support for countries facing attacks on their sovereignty.
