Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to pay a two-day State Visit to the United Kingdom in March.
According to local media reports on Monday, the Royal Family in London said in their official X (formerly Twitter) handle that the visit would take place from Wednesday, March 18 to Thursday, March 19, 2026.
“The King and Queen will host the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the First Lady at Windsor Castle during the State Visit,” the statement said.
The statement confirmed that President Tinubu has accepted the invitation from the British monarch.
The reports said that President Tinubu’s state visit to U.K. would be the first by a Nigerian leader in the last 37 years.
