Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced the launch of four new direct international routes from its hub in Casablanca, set to commence in September and October 2025.
This expansion aligns with the airline’s strategic objective to broaden its global network and foster stronger connections between Morocco, Europe, and Africa.
The new destinations include Zurich (Switzerland), N’Djamena (Chad), Sal Island (Cape Verde), and Munich (Germany), as confirmed by the airline in a statement released on Monday.
Starting September 17, 2025, RAM will inaugurate its new route to Zurich, Switzerland, with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. Flights will depart Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport at 8:00 a.m. (local time), arriving in Zurich at 12:10 p.m. (local time). The return flight is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. from Zurich, landing in Casablanca at 3:25 p.m. On the same day, RAM will bolster its African network with a new service to N’Djamena, Chad. These flights will also operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing Casablanca at 11:10 p.m. and arriving in N’Djamena at 4:35 a.m. the following day. Return flights will depart N’Djamena at 5:35 a.m., reaching Casablanca at 10:55 a.m.
From September 18, 2025, RAM will introduce a new route to Sal Island, Cape Verde, with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays. The departure from Casablanca is set for 11:00 p.m., with arrival at Amílcar Cabral International Airport at 12:45 a.m. the next day. Return flights will operate on Fridays and Mondays, departing Sal at 1:45 a.m. and arriving in Casablanca at 7:05 a.m. Finally, effective October 20, 2025, the Moroccan national carrier will launch direct flights to Munich, Germany. These flights will run twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, departing Casablanca at 1:30 p.m. and arriving in Munich at 6:00 p.m. (local time). The return journey will depart Munich at 7:00 p.m., arriving in Casablanca at 9:35 p.m.
Beyond expanding its flight network, Royal Air Maroc is also strengthening its presence in the sports world through a historic partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The airline has been designated as the “Official Worldwide Partner” for several major CAF tournaments, including the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2024 Women’s AFCON in Morocco.
