Seventeen young Chadians are pursuing agricultural training in France thanks to scholarships offered as part
of the Laham Nadif project, led by the French Embassy in Chad.
They will pursue a BTS (Higher National Diploma) in Agriculture or a Certificate of Specialization in Livestock Farming.
This initiative, carried out in partnership with the Saone-et-Loire Chamber of Agriculture, illustrates the dynamism of Franco-Chadian educational cooperation and its key role in strengthening local skills.
Future-looking cooperation
Before their departure, the students benefited from the support of the Espace Campus France Tchad, which prepared them for this new stage of their studies. Their one-year stay in France will allow them to acquire practical and specialised skills in the field of livestock farming.
Upon their return, these scholarship recipients will directly contribute to the development of the sector in Chad, contributing their expertise and helping to modernise agricultural practices.
In welcoming this new class, the French Embassy in Chad extended its congratulations and encouragement to the students, inviting them to “spread the excellence and values of Chad” throughout their academic careers.
Beyond individual training, this program reflects a shared desire to strengthen relations between Chad and France in the field of education, by promoting the exchange of know-how and preparing a generation of professionals capable of meeting the country’s agricultural challenges.
