The general annual report of the Mauritanian Court of Auditors was officially submitted to Head of State Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani on Wednesday by the Court’s President, Hemeyda Ould Ahmed Taleb.

President Taleb emphasized that the publication of the report reflects the Court’s commitment to continuity and transparency, noting that the body has begun exercising its full judicial powers, starting with the evaluation of public policies. The Court also recently completed institutional reforms, including the adoption of a decree implementing the organic law, the recruitment of new judges, and the creation of a dedicated training and development center.
