Africa’s largest airline, Ethiopian Airlines, has announced plans to introduce flights to Mozambique’s Nacala city in October.
Ethiopian Airlines group chief executive Mesfin Tasew said the airline plans to expand its presence in Mozambique with a thrice weekly passenger service to Nacala scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting from 27 October.
“With this flight, we will bring our renowned, award-winning service to Nacala, connecting the city with our global network,” Tasew said.
Nacala is a strategic destination for business and leisure travellers. It would become the airline’s third destination in Mozambique after Maputo and Beira.
Ethiopian Airlines has Africa’s largest network, serving more than 65 destinations across the continent as well as hundreds of other cities and towns around the world.
