President Joseph Nyuma Boakai met with senior U.S. officials at the White House to reinforce diplomatic ties and expand bilateral cooperation between Liberia and the United States.
The high-level discussions focused on deepening engagements across faith-based development, education, humanitarian assistance, and trade partnerships aimed at bolstering Liberia’s long-term economic stability and institutional capacity.
The meeting follows the July 2026 visit of prominent U.S. cleric Dr. Paula White-Cain to Liberia, during which she was awarded the Grand Band of the Order of the Star of Africa for her humanitarian contributions. Accompanied by Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Cabinet Director General Nathaniel T. Kwabo, and Ambassador Al-Hassan Conteh, President Boakai reaffirmed Monrovia’s commitment to leveraging historical transatlantic alliances to advance governance, accountability, and youth investment initiatives.
