The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 43 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island ports in Lagos on Tuesday.
The NPA stated in its Daily Shipping Position, that the vessels are expected from May 26 to June 6.
According to the report, eight of the expected ships are laden with containers of different goods, while 35 ships are to berth with fresh fish, petrol, general cargo, bulk wheat, aviation fuel, diesel, gasoline, among others.
Meanwhile, the NPA said that 11 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports waiting to berth with containers, gasoline, bulk fertiliser, petrol, crude oil, diesel, condensate and bulk salt.
It also stated that 21 ships are presently discharging bulk urea, containers, petrol, trucks, bulk sugar, wheat, millet, bulk gypsum, aviation fuel and diesel at the three ports.
