Casablanca is set to host the inaugural Africa EV Mobility Expo, the continent’s largest trade show dedicated to electric vehicles and sustainable mobility.
The event will take place from November 19 to 22, 2025, at Anfa Park. Organized by MIE Events in collaboration with the Moroccan Association for Automotive Industry and Construction (AMICA), the expo will bring together a wide range of stakeholders. This includes manufacturers, equipment suppliers, innovative startups, investors, and international experts from the automotive, renewable energy, and smart infrastructure sectors. The main objective of the event is to accelerate the adoption of clean transportation solutions across Africa and to foster collaboration between technological innovators and policymakers.
The expo holds significant strategic importance for Morocco, which is already a leading automotive hub in Africa and a growing competitor on the global stage. The country boasts a mature industrial ecosystem comprising over 250 companies, two world-class vehicle production plants, and a network of suppliers with global certifications. This robust industrial base, along with efficient logistics infrastructure like Tangiers Med and specialized industrial zones, positions Morocco as a prime destination for investments in electric mobility.
By embracing the electric vehicle sector, Morocco aims to cement its status as an African leader and secure a larger share of emerging markets. The Africa EV Mobility Expo is expected to be a showcase for national projects in battery manufacturing, charging stations, and the integration of renewable energies. The event will further solidify Morocco’s role as a vital gateway connecting Africa, Europe, and the rest of the world.
