Chad and the European Union on Tuesday launched their third Partnership Dialogue, aimed at deepening balanced and sustainable cooperation between them.
The third edition of the Chad–EU Partnership Dialogue opened in N’Djamena, marking a new milestone in bilateral relations.
Organised in line with Article 3 of the new Samoa Agreement, the event seeks to reinforce the relationship that is more equitable and mutually beneficial.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul,Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad, in the presence of several government officials and representatives of the EU Member States.
In his remarks, Przemyslaw Bobak, the EU Ambassador and Head of Delegation in Chad, praised “the excellence of political and diplomatic relations” between the two partners and reaffirmed the EU’s tangible commitment through humanitarian assistance valued at €134 million for 2025.
For his part, Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul acknowledged the uncertain international environment while highlighting the consistency of Chad’s partnership with the European Union.
He commended the EU’s adherence to “solidarity among peoples, multilateralism, and respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States.”
This third dialogue thus marks a new chapter in Chad–EU cooperation — one grounded in trust, solidarity and shared vision for sustainable and inclusive development.
