The Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) has achieved a major corporate milestone by ranking 2nd globally in the Best Place to Work 2025 international certification.
Headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco, the African beverage leader earned this distinction following an independent assessment that highlighted its high employee satisfaction rate of 85%.
The certification process evaluated both employee perceptions and an in-depth analysis of the company’s human resources practices. The results underscore ECCBC’s success in making trust, respect, and professional development the cornerstones of its corporate culture. This proactive HR policy focuses on social dialogue and talent development across the 13 African countries where the company operates.
CEO Alfonso Bosch remarked that this global recognition confirms that the company’s pan-African ambitions are driven by the strength of its teams. He emphasized that sustainable growth is only possible within a demanding and inclusive work environment. HR Director Xavier Aliaga added that the ranking reflects the company’s core values of diversity, excellence, and sustainability, which are essential to its goal of becoming the premier FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company in its markets.
Currently, ECCBC serves over 160 million consumers through 250,000 points of sale across the continent. Moving forward, the group intends to leverage this recognition to further invest in its workforce, using employee engagement as a strategic tool for competitiveness and long-term resilience in the African market.
