Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday met a special envoy of Eswatini’s King Mswati III in Harare for talks focused on strengthening investment cooperation, expanding industrial partnerships and advancing regional integration in southern Africa.
Mnangagwa said the meeting with Prince Lindani Dlamini reaffirmed the “robust historical, fraternal and cultural ties” between Zimbabwe and Eswatini, noting that both governments are prioritising economic collaboration as part of broader regional development goals.
“Our discussions focused on enhancing new investment prospects and promoting industrial partnerships to stimulate economic growth,” the Zimbabwean leader said.
Mnangagwa added that Harare and Mbabane remain committed to working together to advance peace, stability and sustainable development in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
Relations between Zimbabwe and Eswatini have traditionally been warm, shaped by cooperation in trade, education, agriculture and regional diplomacy.
Both countries have supported each other in SADC processes and have maintained regular high‑level exchanges.
