Chad and the United Arab Emirates have signed a bilateral agreement aimed at strengthening the mutual protection and promotion of investments.
The accord seeks to provide a stable, transparent and equitable business environment for investors from both countries while boosting economic exchanges and strategic partnerships.
According to Chad’s Ministry of Economy and Development Planning, the agreement is expected to encourage greater inflows of foreign direct investment, particularly in the energy, infrastructure and agriculture sectors.
Already involved in several projects across Central Africa, the United Arab Emirates is emerging as a key economic partner for Chad, supporting the country’s efforts toward economic diversification and sustainable growth.
