The official results of the Ivorian Baccalaureate exam for the 2026 session have just been released by the Directorate of Examinations and Competitions (DECO) with a pass rate of 40.60%.
This pass rate represents a slight increase of 0.45 percentage points compared to the previous
session in 2025, which recorded a rate of 40.15%.
According to overall statistics provided by the education authorities, out of a total of 301,364 candidates who actually sat the written exams, 122,360 candidates were declared successful across the territory.
Detailed data analysis reveals superior performance among girls, who achieved a success rate of 42.24% with 64,853 admitted out of 153,534 candidates, compared to 38.90% for boys, of whom 57,507 were admitted out of 147,830 candidates.
This trend confirms the positive momentum in girls’ enrolment and academic success within the secondary education system in Côte d’Ivoire.
A special deliberation panel will meet on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., before the results of appeals are published the same day at 2:00 p.m.
