South African private credit firm Kholo Capital has completed a R275 million ($17 million) mezzanine debt investment in DCC Holdings Proprietary Limited through its Kholo Capital Mezzanine Debt Fund I.
The structured capital injection is designed to optimize DCC’s overall balance sheet, refinance existing debt obligations, and provide the financial flexibility required to accelerate the company’s regional expansion strategy across Southern Africa.
As an established information and communications technology (ICT) distributor operating since 1988, DCC serves as a pivotal supply chain intermediary linking global hardware and software manufacturers—including HP, Dell, and Lenovo—to an extensive network of resellers, system integrators, and retail networks. Supported by private equity firm Kleoss Capital, DCC’s management team plans to utilize the capital structure optimization to scale its logistics platform, deepen vendor relationships, and support broader socioeconomic initiatives, including local SME channel development, youth employment programs, and facility sustainability upgrades.
