Played at the El Menzah Rugby Stadium in Tunis, the match on the second day of the 2026 Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Division One was dominated by the Moroccans, who were already leading 22–5 at half-time before confirming their superiority in the second half.
The 2026 Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Division One brings together three women’s national rugby union teams – Morocco, Tunisia and Ivory Coast – in Tunisia from 8 to 16 May. The tournament serves as a qualifying round for the 2027 Performance Division of African women’s rugby.
Prior to this match, Tunisia had comfortably beaten Côte d’Ivoire (85-0) in the opening match on 8 May. The Ivorians have thus suffered a second consecutive defeat in the competition.

The winner of this Division One will secure their place in the final phase of the 2027 African Women’s Rugby Cup, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June to 17 July 2027.
