The meeting, held at the headquarters of the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington on the sidelines of a summit between Donald Trump and five African presidents, convened North American entrepreneurs keen on investing in Guinea-Bissau. According to the presidency, the discussion focused on concrete opportunities in the energy, agriculture, and technology sectors.
During the event, President Embaló highlighted Guinea-Bissau’s economic potential, emphasizing several key attractive factors including the country’s political and security stability, the recent modernization of its investment code. and its privileged access to African regional markets.
This initiative is part of the Bissau authorities’ broader efforts to strengthen international economic partnerships and diversify the country’s sources of growth.
