The first meeting of the Morocco-Ethiopia Joint Military Commission was held on Tuesday and Wednesday in Addis Ababa,.
The meeting was dedicated to reviewing an action plan for military and defense cooperation between the two countries.
The creation of a Joint Military Commission was stipulated in the Cooperation Agreement in the Military Field, signed last June in Rabat between Morocco and Ethiopia.
The agreement was signed during the visit to Morocco of the Ethiopian Minister of Defense, Ms. Aysha
Mohammed Mussa, accompanied by a large delegation on a working visit to the kingdom.
In addition to the creation of this commission, the agreement covers cooperation in the areas of training and exercises, scientific research, military health, as well as the exchange of experiences and expertise in various fields of common interest.
The joint military commission tasked with determining areas of cooperation is to meet alternately in Rabat and Addis Ababa.
