Niamey hosted on Wednesday the 5th session of the Niger Morocco Joint Cooperation Commission, marked by the signing of several agreements in strategic sectors.
The session concluded with the adoption of multiple cooperation accords aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, according to Niger’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad.
The agreements covered key areas, including trade, education, vocational training, energy and infrastructure, reflecting the shared ambition of both countries to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
The proceedings were co-chaired by Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakary Yaou Sangaré and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita.
Both officials welcomed the strong state of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further consolidating the partnership in support of development and prosperity for their respective populations.
Holding the 5th session in Niamey underscores the positive momentum in Niger–Morocco relations and highlights the strengthening of South-South cooperation between the two countries.
