The CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) is set to debut a fresh visual identity for its 2025 edition, featuring a redesigned trophy and logo that symbolize the journey of young African football talents.The new trophy, aptly named “The Journey Begins,” embodies the ambition and progression of these young players as they embark on their path towards football’s elite. Its design incorporates a road-like pathway integrated into the map of Africa, representing the pride and unity of the continent while highlighting the crucial first steps in a promising career.
According to CAF Online, the tournament’s new logo is inspired by this trophy, reflecting the support and guidance provided by CAF, which is vital for nurturing future African football stars.
The 2025 CAF U-17 AfCON will be held in Morocco from March 30th to April 19th, 2025, across four stadiums in Casablanca, Mohammedia, and El Jadida. This tournament also serves as a qualifying competition for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, scheduled to take place in Qatar later this year.
The group stage draw has been finalized, setting the stage for exciting matches:
