Ethiopian Airlines has announced the suspension of all flights to Beirut until further notice and to Tel Aviv until October 7th due to the current security situation in the region.
The decision comes as part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to prioritize passenger safety and comply with directives from relevant authorities, the airlines said Friday in a statement.
The airline has advised passengers to check the status of their flights regularly, as last-minute changes may occur.
In light of the suspension, Ethiopian Airlines is offering passengers the option to cancel their bookings and receive a full refund.
“Those who booked through a travel agent are encouraged to contact their agent directly. Passengers who booked through Ethiopian Airlines can reach out via email at [email protected] for further assistance,” it said.
Ethiopian Airlines expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the flight suspensions but emphasized the importance of passenger safety as a top priority.
The airliner said it will continue monitoring developments and providing updates accordingly.
For further information on flight status and refunds, passengers are urged to stay updated through the airline’s official channels.
