Morocco on Monday in Paris, unveiled a new strategy designed to boost its appeal among French travellers, just before the opening of IFTM Top Resa – one of Europe’s key tourism industry events.
The initiative reflects the tourism authorities’ determination to strengthen their foothold in the French market, the kingdom’s primary source of international visitors. Industry professionals gathered in Paris presented a roadmap focused on bolstering partnerships with tour operators, travel agencies, and airlines to sustain visitor numbers.
The strategy emphasises a fresh approach to promoting Morocco’s tourism offerings, highlighting iconic destinations, beach holidays, cultural heritage, and nature-based experiences. The goal is to meet evolving traveller expectations while expanding business opportunities for sector operators.
Unveiling this roadmap just before IFTM Top Resa is a strategic move to maximize visibility among key European tourism players.
Each year, the trade show serves as a platform for negotiating and finalising commercial partnerships, giving participating destinations the chance to prepare for upcoming tourism seasons.
Tourism plays a strategic role in Morocco’s economy, and continuous efforts are being made to enhance the country’s competitiveness against other Mediterranean destinations.
These initiatives aim to support international visitor flows while fostering the growth of new
regional offerings and diversified tourism products.
Industry leaders intend to maintain this momentum through targeted communication campaigns, a stronger commercial presence in France, and closer cooperation with market partners, all with the aim of cementing Morocco’s status as a top choice for French travellers.
